Our area does skip bins instead of roadside collection. We get a few each year. Looks a bit nicer but doesn't stop people from going through it though.

How does that work? One every few houses or something?

Fuck all.

SAU is a good place to get some research done, but other than that, a waste of time.

Most of the people there enjoy the keyboard side of things and not much more, which is why after hitting a brick wall at the SAUWA meeting, WCC was invented. If you were at that meeting you would have walked away scratching your head. It's a very narrow minded club that has a small circle of individuals who don't like change and are not open to suggestions because it's not what they want with their club, and that's their choice to make. Everything that was suggested at that meeting was turned down, so in effect all we did going there was waste fuel and time.
We were told that SAUWA is a motor sport oriented club, but also told us that if you want to come on a cruise with SAUWA, you would have to first attend a driver training day. Why do a driver training day if you don't want to organise cruises?

There is a difference between SAU and SAUWA. The WA branch is the problem, an immovable force. There's nothing you can do about it, and believe me, we tried to make it a better place with suggestions and offering help but to no effect. It's unfortunate and baffling because who wouldn't want to improve on something? They wouldn't have needed to lift a finger, we offered to do that side of things for them. Marianne even offered to compile monthly newsletters for them and was turned down.

Walk away man.

Mmmmm threads like that get me pumped. You'll find it's often me that ends up diverting the attention onto myself lol.

Going to try my best to stay away from this one. Brenden is a fuckhead, a personification of the balls in Antilag's mouth.

understood: leave it.

I've been recently thinking about becoming a paid member there, but i seem to not notice any benefits from doing that.
so in essence it's a waste of time. yes?

I haven't renewed my membership, but nobody seems to have noticed. I keep the sticker on my car and claim to be a member to obtain discounts from places like JPC and Hyperdrive and WA Suspensions. Mind you, Danny, Andrew, and Matty all know me now, so it probably isn't necessary anymore.

ive been paid member of SAUWA for 2-3 months still havent given me access to members section or given me cool gold thing under my name :turned:

im also a paid member of antilag they always cop shit- from the news and whenever a dickhead rocks up on any cruise ppl just say "their from antilag" without really having any idea where they are from. its just like randoms rocking up at WCC events and then people bad mouthing WCC -as has already happend once before.

lets get something clear now 'official' antilag cruises are fkn mint with all the media attention and general popularity of antilag you have to understand that if u post a cruise on antilag.com your inviting the majority of ppl in perth who have an interest in cruises. which includes p platers with their shit house VN commodores, get over it

Yep. I know people from Antilag, and I know people on Antilag. The people from Antilag drive epic cars that do some crazy shit, but do it safely and dont attract attention.
People ON Antilag give it a bad name by driving shit boxed, doing STUPID things and endangering lives. I do think its a bit unfair the way you attack them Socs, but you're young. You'll learn :) No offence buddy.

As for SAUWA, they can shove it up they're arses. I've been a member for almost 3 years, been to 2 cruises and one AHG day. Whoopdi-fucken-do. Not worth the money at all imho. I REFUSE to put the stickers on my car, although I still have one on my toolbox at work, along with a FUSION sticker. I still have the card, but havent used it yet. Should next time I go to JPC and WA Suspension when I start getting my suspension parts.

knowing the general consensus i thought id share:
apparantly cops will take any oppertunity to do some revenue raising. like when the only bridge out of Ipswitch QLD is about to be closed by people escaping floods and 400m down the road there is a speed camera!

as seen at: My link
