Prevents boost creep and does help spool up time a little or so I'm told. But my freak actuator does better than controller so it's off for now.
Another pic I snapped waiting for fuel pump to cool down.

So, this thing has broken down atleast 20 times since last update.
Took it out for the cruise on Saturday, running on 5 cylinders intermittently, exiting second meet point the brake light came on solid, seems some of the fluid dissapeared, topped it up and drove around away from city / commerical area's for a good 3 hours before linking up with the cruise again in early hours of the morning.
Removed the BM50 ABS setup today and replaced it with a BM44 non-ABS setup, which is already responding better than the the ABS gear. Also free'd up some room for my strut brace now, since there's no ABS module blocking it's way.
Also put an alternative hydraulic setup on the clutch. Master cylinder leads down to a secondary cylinder in the lines BEFORE the slave (so 3 cylinders all up). Don't know if its MEANT to make the pedal lighter or we haven't bled it properly but the feel is alot different, not sure if I like it or not.
In other bad news. Found a tech screw in my rear left tyre tonight, so looks like I've got a bit of to do, and go 225s all round.
Still having fuel delivery and idle issues, got some coin to spend which I'm all out of for the next 3 weeks. Stay tuned for updates early 2/11.

Got a split hose at the IACV which it works around by itself by idling a tad high (around 1000 - 1700 depending on it's mood, temperature and last ~5 mins of driving). Misfire eventually returned so I'll see how it goes with a proper clean and new plugs.
Has started running a bit better now, on a good note, feels like it's got more top end power like when I had exhaust leak - pulls fucking HARD (by comparison to before) in high revs now

Just realised, no engine bay pics since the 20DET went in.
Before you ask, that cold air duct in front of the pod DOES make a difference, I don't care if it doesn't look pretty....it's staying.
Evened ride height in all corners.
Not as much rubbing on the rear guards as I thought, and since I need to go down to 225s I might not even bother with rolling.

No BOV now....and as for the line, just shut your face ok?
What cops don't know won't hurt them. Besides it's blocked off properly, what's the problem?
Strut brace is on yes Makes a bit of a difference ay
Guard doesn't tend to eat tyre in corner's now.

So that is a pic of what it looks like now then? The way the line was run was funny, thats all. No way around it, so I would have done the same thing.
Just needs a good degrease now!

This arrived at work today.
Less than half the weight of the standard 2 piece driveshaft.
Keen to drive once it's all on ready to rock n roll.
Maybe Thursday or Friday.

Lachlan, you can now pipe down. She spins TWO wheels now, not one.
Blue lube, soo raunchy!
Speedo is now spot on with the GPS, so no longer in such a hurry to finish off these cheapo 235s :\
No more driveshaft rattle!!!! soo nice to drive now. Somehow it's nicer to drive at low speeds, it doesn't lunge on minimal throttle changes, no clunking or other weird shit going on.
Quiet happy.
STILL leaking brake fluid ???
Fuel tank getting cleaned by the pro's Feb/11.
Almost back to perfect again.

Can't sleep, so figured it's time for another updated.
Went up for sale last week before my stepdad decided he can't reverse for shit, so it's now off the market.
I'll be getting a new door on the weekend hopefully, I might try to get new front doors as well, which fixes 2 rust spots, leaving only 1 left to fix on the body.
Brakes and clutch all sorted now.
Pipe work to suit FMIC on the way, now on the hunt for an R32 GTR intercooler.
Fuel tank got itself a proper wash with acids and all sorts of fancy shit, so fuel delivery problems are all finally rectified.
Getting an exhaust made up by Kermit either this month or next.
Shall be back on the market soon, for an even more bullshit high price.

Turbo finally gave in a week and a bit ago.
Spent a good couple of hours constantly above 4000rpm and often closer to 6000 - 7500.
Continuously failed to hold hold boost, even with good supply of cold air.
Opened up the intake the next day to find oil in liquid form all over the shop, even inside the pod.
Ran it for 3 minutes with no pipework attached to the turbo at all (limp mode idle, air straight into crossover pipe) and it was spitting oil when revving.
Steve/Mayhem hooked me up a pretty good price for an RB25 turbo. Got the whole deal, manifold, turbo, dump pipe, heatshields, water and oil lines, etc....for a price I best keep my lips sealed about
Got my hands on a 3 inch cat back exhaust, into cannon. In pretty good nick, got hangers to suit Cefiro, so for a change I'm not fucking around and modifying shit. Need Kermit's help to get that crankin'. I MIGHT add a high flow cat and split dump pipe later down the track, but see how I go. Not keen on doing too much work to the poor car.
Also got an R32 GTR FMIC ready to rock and roll. Cut and shut the reo bar off the Laurel halfcut, almost done
And, to go with it, I got some FMIC pipework to suit, shipped over from SA.
Fucking lightweight, ported, and whoever welded that shit has more skills than Chuck Norris.
Car currently hardparked (again) due to issue with new driveshaft - not quiet long enough to seal with the R33 gearbox, so it spits gearbox oil all over the tunnel. Getting that sorted on next pay cycle.
Bulk pics to come.
