Today was really good
thanks for the chance to dyno the beast.

on the right for the NA people does Lb mean Lb-ft (footpounds)?

I got 408 Lb which works out to 552Nm of torque which doesn't sound right.

Thanks for organizing guys :) I was planning on buying a couple of drinks and a hot dog to support the club, but when I got there I was so cold I wasn't thirsty

Not happy with how my car went at all, nor how it performed on the way home, but I'll get over it

hahahhahaha didnt see that coming i knew i should have chucked the 380 on :drivingskid:
Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Yeah thanks again to Lachlan and Jess for making it happen. good turnout, good fun, good burnouts... but not on cruises guys. hahaha

Hey Ryhs, reckon maybe the power loss has something to do with the oil seeping out your intake mani? if oil were to leak from the turbo, what would that mean and could it be the reason???

What a brilliant day. I thought it was awesome.

Many thanks to Jess and Lachlan for organizing the event. Not only did they raise $200 for the club, as already stated by Marianne, we made $60 on the hot dogs and drinks. Thats $260 towards WCC. Awesome stuff guys. That is really good to see. Everyone deserves a pat on the back.

I'm pretty happy with my run, although i would like to know what it was doin in RWD, but its no biggy to find out. When i did a read up on wikipedia, this is what it says a factory RB26DETT has in HP.

"The RB26DETT engine is a 2.6L Inline-6 engine manufactured by Nissan, for use primarily in the 1989-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The RB26DETT engine block is made from cast iron, and the cylinder head is made from aluminium. The cylinder head contains 24 valves (4 valves per cylinder), and uses a dual overhead camshaft setup. The intake of the RB26DETT varies from other RB-series motors in that it has six individual throttle bodies instead of a single throttle body. The engine also uses a parallel twin turbo system. The turbo system is arranged so that the front turbo is powered by the front 3 cylinders, and the rear turbo is powered by the rear 3 cylinders. The turbo chargers are of equal size, and are set by the wastegates to limit boost pressure to 10 psi, although the Skyline GT-R has a built in boost restrictor to keep boost under 14 psi.

The first 2.6 L RB26DETT featured twin-turbochargers and produced around 280 HP (206 kW) @ 6800 rpm and 260 ft•lb (353 N•m) @ 4400 rpm. The last series of the RB26DETT produced 280 PS (206 kW) @ 6800 rpm and 289 ft•lb (392 N•m) @ 4400 rpm. However, several stock (unmodified) engines have been dyno tested and reported to obtain closer to the 330 HP mark. The reason for this discrepancy is a gentlemen's agreement between Japanese automakers to limit the advertised horsepower of any vehicle to 280 PS (276HP). It is widely known for its strength and extreme power potential. It is not uncommon for 600 hp to be achieved without modification of the engine internals. With regular maintenance, many of these engines have been driven way past the 100,000 mile mark with a few heading toward 200,000 miles. With extreme modification, the RB26 motor is capable of power in excess of 1 megawatt (or over 1,340 hp)."

So my 303.1 HP (222.93Kw) is about right for being STOCK. YES STOCK minus boost restrictor. I reckon if i did a RWD run, it would most likely be around the 330HP mark like they say above. On my sheet, it says that i had 13 psi of boost. This shows me that my gauge is wrong as it currently tells me i have 11psi. Its 2psi out.

Having said that, it got me thinking that i must of been pushing 18 - 20psi with my old RB20 stock turbo. WOW. Im surprised it didn't go bang at that amount.

All in all, today was friggen awesome and we must do it again. Now that i know what its putting out, after the track day, she's getting upgraded. I plan to set it around the 500 - 550HP mark. Well, heres for hoping. I'm already tired of the 303HP.

Red suprised the shit out of me. I was honestly exspecting about 80 - 100HP max. 122.8HP (90.32Kw) was something to be happy about. Sheet says it had about 700 lb of torque. That cant be right.

I got 248 at hyperdrive but my turbo in 3rd peaks at 15.5psi which is wierd.
