Hey all,
I imagine this thread will just be between James, Socs and myself, but i'm currently so pumped for the World Cup i thought i would make this thread anyway. Just post anything about the World Cup; any news, results, whatever

I'll kick it off, I'm predicting that it will be Argentina and Netherlands in the final together, Argentina to win it. Robin Van Persie to win Golden Boot. Iker Casillas to win Golden Glove.

so
Greece 0 - 2 Sth Korea
It was party mode at Peter's by the Sea until that happened.
now everyones just dissappointed and embarrassed.
Greece can still win the group by:
Win against Nigeria
and hope that Argentina wins against Sth Korea
then
Win against Argentina
and hope that Nigeria wins against Sth Korea
which will put them at:
Argentina 6
ELLAS 6
Korea 3
Nigeria 3
And if goal difference is right it could put greece to the top of the group as well.

Ah yes, i had thought something was wrong when none of the referees had tried to take headlines yet, but good ol' Marco Rodriguez has corrected me by finally ruining a game, good stuff.
Cockhead, what a joke.

I'm not saying the above is going to happen, but there is still a chance for the " blue-whites" to top the group, a very slim chance.

Lol you mean The Forbidden Team? They are not internationally recognized, so can't compete in any international tournaments.

Yeh, there is nothing i love more than getting up at 2:30am to watch schoolboys play against men, with the lovely soothing background note of the vuvuzela.

I'm usually all for the Netherlands but without Seedorf they won't make it.
Spain will win, you mark my words!
