The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

ROFL, Dont worry guys, I have a habbit of fallin asleep on long road trips when Im passenger too.
If your gonna get a 4x4, just get an older series one, they are fairly cheap in comparison to the newer models and when the motor dies just dump a v8 in it.

Any HZJ75/79 trayback ute or HJ80 Landcruiser upwards will cost about $7000 plus. HJ60 on the other hand are a dime a dozen. My red cruiser only cost me $1000 for the car, $50 for the motor and $1000 for the bell housing adapter. Its cost me stuff all and ive had some awesome fun in it. Plus you can bash it about and it will take it.

Yeah, thats what I'm worried about. I dont care about the resale value, cos if I was I wouldnt be able to give it more shit and ultimately destroy it!! Patrols are good cars though, definately would be interested in one. Or even a HiLux if I can find one for the right price.

Not sure about the V8 route just yet. eventaully maybe a 1UZ-FE, but standard motor for now. If I get a Patrol, I might chuck my 25 into it when i upgrade to the 30
