Hi guys,
I' am currently Insured with Just Cars which when at the time was the only insurance company that would insure a 19 year old with a R34 Skyline. My car is insured for $25,000 and all current modifications are listed on the policy, I pay $2400 for full comp insurance but my excess is $4000 if I have a accident or if it's stolen which is a Joke. So now that I' am turning 20, I'am wondering if anyone else knows of any other companies that would insure a 20 yr old with a R34 GT-T????
I have heard of a company called Famous Cars but I'm not sure if they would be good or not.
Can anyone share their views/opinions/knowledge???????

I think Shannons would as well, but none of them are going to be cheap. I think JustCars will be the cheapest. Until we turn 25, we just have to bend over and take it

Thats true. I might as well as go with out insurance because if I have a accident, no matter how minor/major it is, it will still cost me $4000 in excess

famous will insure you if your 20. shannons will when your 21. just cars were so good to me when the skyline was written off. i was telling my boss about it and he was surprised coz his insurance company wasn't like that.

Damn you's are getting bent over and screwed. im not with either just car or shannons and it only costing me $1012 a year and my excess is $900 and thats full comp+glass replacement. and im still under 25...................well that is for another 18 days at least

What insurance company you with? Though you do have to bare in mind Im not 20 so thats probs why im getting shafted so hard by the insurance company.

yep. the girl that handled my situation always kept me updated.when it got to the inspection/holding area at osborne park from the tow trucks place, when it was getting inspected, when it moved from there to the mechanic plus more she called me to tell me everytime. she was really helpful and even when i called to ask if it had been inspected yet or whatever she was really patient etc etc. i ended up taking her a box of chocolates
