As some of you know i recently won a $3000 overseas study trip and $1000 prize money for winning the Nationals of a floristry comp. Well I thought that Interflora would be organising flights and accomodation to wherever I choose to go so i would only be allowed to see a floristry event. However i was told today that they actually give me the money and I organise it myself.

So i have a really hard decision to make. I have already started booking a holiday in August to KL for 3 days then to Langkawi for 10 days, was going to come back to KL for a few days and then go to Phuket BUT i'm thinking i want to shorten this trip. What are your opinions:

A) Go to Taiwan in March for a week to see the Asia Cup as study trip and KL, Langkawi and Phuket in August for 3-4 weeks
B ) Go to Taiwan in March for a week then fly somewhere else for 2-3 weeks like Japan AND only go to KL for 3 days and Langkawi for 10 days in August
C) Go to Taiwan in March for 2 weeks

I know Japan is quite expensive, i possibly could have a place to stay from when we had an exchange student and i would be able to put in extra $$$$

I don't really know what there is to do in Taiwan. The travel agents don't have brochures on them and its ony a small place so thought i prob wouldn't want to spend more than a week there.

I hope this makes sense. There was another option but i can't remember what it was

Well my vote is clearly to go and see the Asia Cup :P But, make sure you can find tickets first if you are actually intending to attend a game. Those games sell out months in advance, it may actually be too late to find any tickets.

I see. I recall my vote on the basis that it is no longer that awesome :P

My vote now goes to option B, simply because I know how much I love traveling and seeing different places :)

OK i think that i will go to Japan but may not go straight after Taiwan. So i'll go to Taiwan in March for 5 days then Japan later on in yr then go to KL and Langkawi for 13-15 days

woooooooooooooooo for holidays

Good choice! Be a shame to miss Japan.

And I'm sure I've said it before, but I can fit in the overhead lockers... ;)

i just need to make up my mind when to go. I wanna see the snow but i wanna see the cherry blossoms. the cherry blossoms bloom a month after the snow finishes.

Also, i got a booklet for flight centre today. They have ninja lessons and sumo classes hahaha

Go for the snow. Cherry blossoms are awesome for maybe a second. Snow is awesome until it melts.
