Hey all,
Date: Saturday, December 11.
Time: 9am meet for 9:30am cruise.
Meet point: Whiteman Park.
Above image details where to meet, as Whiteman Park is a big place. The star indicates the position of the parking. You can get to the meet point by following the signs within the park to the turnoff to "Mussel Pool", which is the lake indicated at the bottom of the map.
Please note: The meet point is not at Mussel Pool itself, but is just after the road that leads to it. (for anyone unable to view the map).
Map: Targa Rally.
This cruise has been a long time in the making, and after a few months of putting it off due to uni etc, I've finally managed to get it all plotted.
So basically as the title suggests, this cruise follows the Quit Targa Rally map, which I'm sure most of you know is a hugely popular tarmac rally that follows a lot of very good roads. I had to make a few alterations for it to flow well as a cruise and so that we could have meet points, but generally all the roads in this map are the exact roads that are used in the Targa Rally.
As you can probably imagine this is not a short cruise. It does go out to Toodyay and back, so there are a fair few kms to be traveled. That said, it is also not excessively long, for comparative purposes it is probably similar in length to the Dams to Dams map. Brett, this would probably be another good opportunity to get out the BBQ and raise a bit more cash for the club if you wanted to
Anyway, I'm sure if anyone has any questions then they will be discussed
Cheers,
Martin.

I know, I was going to see if I could make it on a Sunday so people wouldn't be working but everyone else has had the same idea
Would also just like to stress that this will not be a race.

Depends how long we spend at meet points I guess. I haven't tested the map yet, will do that this week sometime so I'm not sure how long it will take. But will probably be back by about 4pm as a guess? Really not sure though lol.

make sure to have a stop at the Mean Bean Cafe. they have the best burgers EVER. they have a small carpark too, but we could always park at the shopping center on the other side of the rd

Is that in Toodyay? That would be perfect, because the reason I haven't finalized the map yet is I have no idea where to do the meet point. I don't know where they would have an area big enough for us to park.

Oh that's good, at the moment it looks like it's going to be on the 11th.
