Looking at interest for cruise to Peter's By The Sea in Scarborough or someone's place if they volunteer.

DATE: Sat 19th June 2010 Kickoff (Peter's by the Sea) 10pm, game will be done by midnight.
MEET POINT: City West Car Park - Sutherland St West Perth
TIME: 8.30pm leave at 9pm ????? To Be Confirmed

MAP: City West Loop
but after "hamburger hill" we go to scarborough (Peter's by the Sea) not back to citywest.

Start West Perth, WA
Via Willetton, WA
Via Burswood, WA 6100
End Scarborough, WA 6019
Distance: 46km Time: 55min (approx)

For those who don't know, Peter's by the Sea is Greek kebab shop/restaurant with 4 TV's and one large projector screen.
They also sell fish, chicken, hamburgers etc., not just limited to kebabs.

An idea I had was all north people meet somewhere north, south meet somewhere south and all then meet in central location in the city then head west to Scarborough.

Another idea as above but after city, go hills to get Hanaldo then to Scarborough. If people think that the previous idea isn't long enough.

** Sorry to Hijack your thread Socs, Just wanted to clear up the details a little.

I'm easily in.

Even if you aren't into football, this would be a great socializing venue. The atmosphere at these places is usually insane, it's great fun. I even loved watching the AFL grand final at a place like this and i hate AFL lol.

I don't think you were quite harsh enough on Socs, maybe finish it off by poking him in the eye

I'm not dissing the idea, I think it's great idea! Socs, good work for organising a few events. :) Soccer just isn't my thing, as you all know.

Sorry guys, I was pretty tired last night. Wasn't thinking right :(

Well... Glad to see you take the idea on board. Im not a soccer/football fan myself but I can always come on the cruise and then bail if I dont like the atmosphere. I was going to run another night cruise most likely on this date but if you go ahead with this then there is less work for me to do.
I think make the cruise a focus and then those who want to watch the football can do so.
The non football peepz can always just hang out and socialise together, I guess we dont actually have to watch the TVs. lol

it might not be worth running, cause I'm imagining 3 cars right now and people being bored at the stops at night.

Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

I will see If I can organise a baby sitter for the night (not fair on the little one to drag him out at that time) but I doubt we will be able to stay out till 12am.
