Im a panel beater and fibreglass worker and enjoy a good work out at the gym to past the time, i own 3 cars at the moment, my daily driver is a mildly modified 04 BA Falcon 4L, My little project car is a Mk2 Escort (almost compelted all the body work) And my pride and joy is My 91 EB XR8 347 Strocker (which the motor is going into on the weekend, finally) (its sitting there all built ready to rock and roll)
Heres my daily
Heres the escort
And i'll have to get a pic of my v8 for yous, the plates are showing in all the good pic's, so will blank them out, and post a pic up tonight for you.

Welcome aboard man!
At last we have a panelbeater.
Good to be here, anyways as promised a pic of my V8, i have spent a fair bit on this one, loss count at around 11G's and thats just on the motor, still gotta tune, upgrade gearbox ect.
The motor was a 302 windsor 5L, Machined out enough room to fit the new crank in, so its now has the capasity of a 5.6L or a 347ci.
Forged Scat Flat tops 40 thou over
Scat H Beam Rods
Forged Scat Crank (also Balacned)
Crane Cams Hydro Lifters
Crane cam 600 Thou ( the biggest cam that fits, you cant get anything bigger to fit a winsor) cam starts at 3000rpm to 7300rpm redline, and valve float is at 8300rpm, with this cam the v8 will idel at about 1700-2000rpm
GT40p Heads with yella terra rolla rockers
Ford explour upper and lower manifolds
2 Bolt bottem mains with bottem end gridel
Custom (personally built) Hi energy sump (to fit mains gridel in)
Theres plenty more to add, basiclly brought the best gear for her, gaskets, studs, leads, dizzy, brought the best gear, new push rods ect, i wont list it all.
19lbs injectors for running in, will upgrade to a 24lbs later, 65mm tickford T/B again will be upgrading soon
T5 Manual gear box, soon to be replace by something that will stand up to high NA hosepower
Also have modifyed the diff and gearing, ford 9" diff with 4" axel's. The diff is 3.9:1 LSD
Motor is hopefully going into the car this weekend, as its sitting there all ready to go, has been for a while, got some pretty cool rocker covers for her and a few other bits and pieces, will post up a pic when shes all back togeather.
Heres a coupe of pic's
The manifold is only about half way though here, it came up looking pretty good.
And the mains gridel, incase someone wondered what it was, holds everything togeather

Yeah sweet as man, will put some pics up in the garage section, was having a look through there this morning, just gotta find the time to upload haha, im not quite a full on ford freck, i like my old school chev's to, but in genral i like seeing what other ppl have done to their rides as i like cars from all walks of life, and its good to be amonest it all, some of the imports can look pretty cool and some of them go pretty hard to, i just enjoy seeing different stuff out there, so hope to see everyone from here out and about on a cruise, probly wont have the v8 out and about for a couple more months as it still needs to be tuned and minor problems to be fix here and there, but will bring out the twin cam 4L, even if its just to meet a few new ppl and have a chat.
Cheers guys

I need to get her tuned still, but the old eb ecu is having no problems running the motor, she's running rich not lean, so thankgod for that.
shes good off the line, cos of the size of the cam, its hard to spin the tyres, power band is meant to be from 3000rpm to 8300rpm, but the cams on abit earlyer, she dosent have much down low, but when she hit 3000rpm its all over, the good thing is she idels at 18000rpm, does anyone know a good tunning place to take her to?? i have a couple lined up, but i would some more input.
Well i will be bringing her out to the next cruise, i cant give her shit yet but, only done 50k's on the new motor, once i hit 200k's its all out war lol
still looking forward to meeting you all

Can always take a look at it for you if you want mate, has the bumper spilt at all or just been pulled down at the botom out of alginment, sometimes if the plastic hasnt spilt, it just bends out of shape from the impact, if its not spilt you can put a bit of heat onto it from a hot air gun, and move it back where it needs to go, hold onto the plastic until it has cooled down natrally, if it has spilt you need to plastic weld it

Hey, I don't think its split, but its definitely bent. Also, it sits slightly off on the LHS where it meets the guard, where abouts are ya?Can always take a look at it for you if you want mate, has the bumper spilt at all or just been pulled down at the botom out of alginment, sometimes if the plastic hasnt spilt, it just bends out of shape from the impact, if its not spilt you can put a bit of heat onto it from a hot air gun, and move it back where it needs to go, hold onto the plastic until it has cooled down natrally, if it has spilt you need to plastic weld it

Shes not to bad for her age, she's getting resparyed next year (same colour) as she has a few car parck dings and ect on her, other than tunning the motor is all done, just gotta finish my nice cover plate for the engine bay and a couple of little things here and there, i have already done stero ect, just gotta finsih the intiour, rear door trims already finished, and i have put in the AU cener console, which makes her look alot nicer in side, will try and get some pic's up of the motor in the car and some intiour shots to for those who are intrested
Should be able to bring her out to the next meet
