Ah yes, old age is taking away the memory.
We had the meeting and told her of the following concerns:
She did a lot of nodding and sympathised with us, but I had the feeling that I just spoke to a brick wall, the Great Wall of China at that. The only thing that I can say is that we keep an eye on things and keep posting our experiences and grievances in an effort to compile an arsenal to bring forth at a later battle.
Another thought I had is to see whether asking a media crew to accompany us on a cruise to show that not all of us are hoons and a threat to the public's safety by treating the roads as our personal race tracks.
Obviously Today Tonight would be the best bet as they are the arseholes responsible for flagrantly inflating their stories by showing street racing and drifting from Japan and portraying the scenes on their show as being filmed in WA. I would dare say that the damage these idiots have done by trying to gain attention and ratings should be repaired by them with a story showing the positive side of cruising, as we are not all street racers, just people enjoying a night/day out with our vehicles.
So start posting any and all examples that you have had in the past and future within this forum, and we'll reply with our own take on the issues in an effort to stamp out the abuse of power that has been handed to a bunch of self-righteous officious idiots.

- The issuing of defect notices for modifications that meet ADR regulations.
- The issuing of defect notices for modifications where a modification permit is presented.

allen i am more then up for inviting a camera crew on a cruise but unlike all WCC members who obey all the road rules we would have to be very carefull who is invited and keep this well away from some other clubs as we want to put the good side across not burnouts and shit like that i think a sunday arvo sunset cruise would make the best look what do the rest of the club members think
Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

I agree aswell. All it takes is one idiot and it would make us look stupid.
Example: Last Saturdays cruise, the dude in the vl calias dropping in on the cruise and then attracting attention at hambuger hill by doin a skid. Dont need nob heads like that. I dont mind people joining a non member cruise because it encourages people to join WCC, but if there gona be idoits at meet points and do that, it aint gona make us look good.

All it takes is one guy to do something stupid ... then we're all fked ... i hope that you be strict in all the cruises so that it wont ruin the clubs reputation, yet to go on a "cruise"
