Hey everyone,

Introducing myself like a good newb lol. Name I go by is Skippy, currently on red P's (though green in less then 4weeks). I live south of the river near adventure world. I'm more or less 'new' to the car scene around perth, I've been on a couple of cruises with mates but that's about it due to my car is well... you'll see!

My car, which I have a passion for, and my whole intention for it from day one was a quick FWD car. The car: 2004 Mitsubishi CH Lancer, Manual, 2L (4G94 SOHC), Black, Hail-Damage (lolz)
Posted Image
Day one! Right off the tray of the RAC from the auctions!

Posted Image
Hail Damage extent, though it's going to get fixed by myself, once the engine is complete (more below)

Posted Image
The base for the perfomance.

Posted Image
The new wheels for it! Plus current height before I get coilovers!

Posted Image
Crappy image of my foglights, pulled off a VRX and put on a ES front bar (lolz), so it has ghetto mounts!

Current Mods:
Black surround altezzas
White non-HID globes and parkers
Foglights
New gearknob
Changed globes to bright white LED's behind aircon and speedo
Kicker Splits x2
Kicker 6"s x2
Kicker 4channel amp
Kicker 12" sub(vented)
Kenwood bluetooth Headunit w/ Ipod Integration
(All mods were DIY)
New bonnet (white) ready for hail damage respray

Plans:
Install FTO bucket seats (paid and being shipped)
Buy Evo3 front brakes with drilled rotors and hubs to fit on my 4x100 wheels
GT-R R33 turbos (deposited)
Custom top-mount turbo manifold
Custom Turbo back straight pipe with lukey muffler and hi-flow cat
New ECU and tune
FMIC (black)
GSR rear disk conversion for mod plate
coilovers (money put aside)
Re-trim rest of interior with black fabric/suede
Fix Hail-damage with bog/new pannels
custom boot install w/ inverted subs x2 10" rockford if I can afford
CG rear end conversion.

Thats the plans... now more pictures taken from my thread elsewhere!

Alright pictures time!!

The front bar off for the first time:

What helped them fit:

(If you don't know its the little piece of metal that extends the bracket on the fog lights.

Now off to do the other side!!

Thanks for reading, hope to be able to come to some cruises and find some more lancers!!!

Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Got it for 1k+ rego, etc.

Should I worry that my name is skippy? lol

Forgot to mention (and before I get my head ripped off), Yes internals will be done! But once it's running boost, in the end I'd like to put out 200kw at the flywheel, but I'd like drive it as a daily so 140-160kw.

Why Skippy? It's a nickname that goes waayyyyy back, bout 5years ago I was in a multicultural group as such, and I was the only australian, so naturally they dubbed me skippy and it stuck lol. And ahh well it'll be nothing I haven't heard before :P

Sounds like you have yourself a great project there, I think its great to see someone young like yourself get in there and do up their own car. There is nothing like learning respect for your car and knowing it inside out 'literally' than by doing it up yourself.
Hope to see you out there soon.

Its the little things in life that count.

Welcome mate.

May I ask why you didn't just decide to drop in a 4G63T out of a 6th Gen VR-4/Evo or a 6A13TT out of an 8th Gen VR-4? Surely that would have been a simpler option then just turbo'ing the N/A 4G64.

And I'll just leave this with you ;)
