Here is a table that shows the rule of thumb for AFM's.

Remember, this is a rule of thumb only and variances such as amount of dialled in boost will alter the results.

RB20/25 (80mm OD) - 1xAFM = 226rwkW/376bHp + 2xAFM = 453rwkW/683bHp
RB26 (65mm OD) - 1xAFM = 149rwkW/271bHp + 2xAFM = 299rwkW/474bHp
Z32 (80mm OD) - 1xAFM = 255rwkW/415bHp + 2xAFM = 511rwkW/763bHp
Q45 (90mm OD) - 1xAFM = 302rwkW/479bHp + 2xAFM = 605rwkW/890bHp

Just a query, where are these ratings from and what are they based on? Like how are they worked out?

Just wondering because I know a lot of people using a single Z32 and making more than 300rwkw, whereas this says a single one can't go over 255rwkw? If these are the true flow ranges of the AFM's, I see little value in upgrading an RB25 AFM to a Z32 AFM for a gain of 25kw?

How come mine has a Z32 then if a RB25 can flow 300hp easily?

Like I said, it's a rule of thumb only. Only a dyno tune will reveal whether the AFM is maxing out and there are too many variables to pinpoint an exact figure.

It's just a basic guide.
