Ingredients:
1 tbspn vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tspn crushed garlic
2 tspn crushed ginger
1/4 cup ground coriander
6 tspn ground cumin
1 tspn brown mustard seeds
1/2 tspn cracked black pepper
1 tspn chilli powder
1 tspn ground turmeric
1 tspn salt
3 tbspn white vinegar
1 kg gravy beef, cut into 3cm cubes
1/4 cup tomato puree
1 cup beef stock
1 x 400g can crushed tomatoes
Rice.

Method:
Heat the oil in a pot.
Place the onion, garlic, and ginger into the pot and cook until the onion has softened.
Combine the coriander, cumin, mustard seeds, pepper, chilli powder, turmeric, salt, and vinegar into a bowl and combine thoroughly.
Place the ingredients into the pot and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Stir in the beef and cook until browned.
Add the tomato puree and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly.
Add the beef stock and crushed tomatoes, and stir.
Lower the heat and simmer for 1hr 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Add water ass necessary.
Serve on rice.
