Today i created a rough home page for the website. As time goes on, i will be updating and changing it as im sure there will be more i will want to add.

To view the home page, you visit the root directory of the site: www.westcoastcruisers.com.au

Its a start anyway...

Looks good! And a nice intro.

Few ideas though, you know how to use Flash yeah? I was thinking maybe 3 lines of photos constantly changing, either fading or scrolling in and hanging around for 10+ seconds. That way, it's constantly changing but with enough time to check out each photo. Does that make sense?

Another idea is add more white wheeled beasts there. In the form of a blue Onevia and Silver 33

Ok lol, don't get me wrong cos I like the homepage, it's awesome. BUT... is it possible to make it so that you don't have to sign in every time you click home or log onto the website? Decided I would ask after signing in for the 20th time lol

There is a glitch there were its not picking up if you are already signed in making you sign in again. Not to sure yet as to the reason why thats happening. Database registration link must be needed or something like that. I need to do more investigating.

All the script code to make the web page is from scratch. Its still really in its Beta stages. Theres bound to be bug problems, but i will sort them out to make it work correctly. Keep informing me of faults you might find. It helps

I do agree with the use of flash doing selected pics in sequence. It was one of my thoughts and Marianne's. Theres quite a bit already that i want to do and change already just looking at it. I will see what i can do.

The main thing was getting "something" live as a home page making a start. Lots of changes will be happening, so stay tuned to help.

Ok, just found you don't have to sign in again, you can just click on the pictures and it will bring you to the forums already signed in.

Few little changes have happen in the last couple of days. The login section has been removed so it no longer confuses you with sign on, and the word description of the club is now just under the main banner with the field of cars lined up. Looks better.

Soon i will modify it to have some flash pictures rotating aswell. It all takes times.

It will all most likely change soon anyway. I will add some white wheeled cars while im at it.

There still quite a few people cars that i haven't added as yet.

Home page has been updated with a adobe flash player slide show with some of our clubs vehicles. I have also added the sponsors section to the home page to thank all our sponsors for there support.

Currently there is only 11 pictures in the slide show. I will add more pictures later when i get some time.

Just a suggestion Brett, is there anyway you can randomize the order that the photo's come up in? Just because so far the only photo I have seen (Can't really be bothered just sitting and watching it) is the one of the 4WD lol, it would be good if the order was random so you might see a different picture every time you log in?

Nar. I would have to find/create a special code to do that sort of stuff. The only thing that i can do atm is change the order of the pictures.
